Nestled in the serene environment of Altea, our two luxurious fincas, Las Araucarias and Los Azahares, offer an unparalleled holiday experience. Surrounded by lush gardens, refreshing pools, and  near the sea, our properties promise both comfort and privacy, making them a perfect retreat.

About us
A family tradition
Our family has always cherished the joy of hosting. When our parents moved from Madrid to Altea, they built their dream finca amidst the tranquility of a pine forest with the Bernia mountains as a backdrop. This became our family sanctuary. The gardens, lovingly planted by our father with palms, olive, and orange trees, now serve as a rejuvenating haven for our guests, providing a peaceful escape from the stress of everyday life.

Although our parents are no longer with us, their spirit of hospitality lives on in our home. We believe the time has come to share this paradise with others seeking relaxation. The year-round mild and sunny climate of the Costa Blanca attracts a diverse group of visitors: sunbathers, beach walkers, hikers, tennis champions, golfers, water enthusiasts, food lovers, and bikers—all finding joy here.
Adjacent to our parents' house, we have added another property, expanding our ability to offer hospitality. Both fincas have been lovingly prepared and equipped with all modern comforts for our guests.

The name Las Araucarias is derived from a Chilean province called Arauco, where these exotic coniferous trees are native. The proud and majestic crown of the Chilean Araucaria rises towards the sky like an umbrella.

Los Azahares means «the orange blossom», considered one of the most beautiful flowers in the Mediterranean garden. It grows on the unique tree that bears both fruit and flowers simultaneously.

Why travel far when the sunsets at Las Araucarias and Los Azahares rival those overseas? The magnificent natural spectacle of the sun painting the sky a fiery red as it sinks behind the mountains is a heavenly experience each day. Surrounded by trees bearing oranges, figs, almonds, and loquats, with a glass of Tempranillo in hand, one might think: it’s paradise here.

Activities
Altea la Vieja is the perfect holiday destination for people with diverse interests. The sea is just a 5-minute drive from the fincas, making it a paradise for:
Sunbathers
Water Enthusiasts: Whether swimming in the sea or pool, or steering a boat, there’s something for everyone in one of the three marinas.
Golfers: Enjoy your passion at the local course in Altea la Vieja, with several others nearby.
Bikers: The Bernia mountains behind our houses offer the ultimate challenge, a popular winter training ground for cyclists.
Gourmets and Wine Lovers: Enjoy a vast array of restaurants, some within walking distance in Altea la Vieja, most in Altea itself. Clubs and bars are also available. We have compiled our favourites in a small guide available in each house.
Tennis Players: Tennis is a popular sport in Spain with courts available in Altea itself with more in the surrounding area.
City Trips: From Altea, city and cultural trips to Madrid or Valencia can easily be integrated into your holiday. The high-speed train from Alicante takes passengers to Madrid in two and a half hours, with Valencia  just over an hour and a fifteen minutes drive from Altea.

Our houses, with their secluded countryside setting and large, romantic gardens, provide the perfect ambiance for festive occasions. Whether it’s a birthday, wedding, corporate event, or simply the joy of celebrating, we can accommodate your needs. If you wish to rent one of our houses, or even both, let us know. Getting there:

By plane: Altea can be reached from two airports. It is approximately 50 minutes from Alicante and about 90 minutes from Valencia.

By car: The village is located just behind the «Autopista del Mediterráneo» AP-7. Precise location details will be provided upon booking.
